Individual Pre mediation meeting
$165/CLIENT
An Individual Assessment is conducted separately for each party. This assessment is confidential and is booked for 60 minutes. Anything discussed in this session is not shared with the other party without express permission. Within this session, the Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) can provide you with legal information, discuss your options, and well as the mediation process. JOINT MEDIATION
$330/CLIENT
This appointment is conducted after both parties have attended their individual assessments. The Joint Mediation session enables the parties to raise any concerns or ideas they may have in the spirit of reaching a Parenting Plan or Property Agreement. This is a confidential session. The FDRP will facilitate the conversation and enable each party to be included. If needed, a second Mediation sessions is charged at $250 each party for an additional 3-hour session.
Parenting or Property 24 hour FDR
$440/CLIENT
The 24-hour FDR package is for parties that are both willing to attend mediation for either parenting or property matters. This package enables the FDRP to meet with both parties individually as well as conduct their joint mediation all in one day. Upon an agreement being reach, the parties will receive their agreement on that same day. This package is for matters that have NO current Violence Restraining Orders issued in any state or territory. Select the BOOK NOW button to start your process.
Parenting AND Property 48 hour FDR
$750/DAY
The 48-hour FDR package is for parties that are both willing to attend mediation for both parenting and property matters. The package enables the FDRP to meet with both parties individually as well as conduct their joint mediation over two consecutive days. Upon an agreement being reach, the parties will receive their agreement on the second day. are the sessions face to face?
All prices listed above are for Phone or Online mediation only. Face to Face mediation appointment Start from $990 each client, $770 for each additional session. Face to Face mediation are available for matters that have NO current Violence Restraining Orders. Intake session are over the phone ($165). Please speak to your mediator during your intake appointment or contact out office for more information on Face to Face Mediation.
What if i require additional work?
Any additional work conducted by the FDRP outside of the normal Parenting or Property mediation process will attract an additional charge of $165.00 per hour. Other document preparation, including an Application for Consent Orders will be charged depending on the complexity of an agreement.
Is there additional cost for certificates or letters?
Unlike some other private mediators. we charge NO additional cost for any letter writing, emails and phone calls (under 10 minutes) undertaken by the FDRP within the normal mediation process. This includes the preparation of your agreements or certificates during that same time period. Should a Client request a Certificate within 1 month after an agreement has been reached, a fee of $65.00 will apply to the requesting Client. No Certificate would be issued beyond the 1 month period and Parties would need to return to mediation.
What about returning clients or updating the agreement?
At Family Mediation Australia, we value our returning clients and understand the importance of updating agreements. Parties are able to return to family mediation to review, update or resolve new issues. To reengage in family mediation, just select the BOOK NOW button and select ‘Returning Client’ to book an appointment.
